All in the Family

Dine Racoma writes, "I became aware of blogs only when I found out what my eldest son, Angelo, was doing for a living (The J Spot ). I learned that my other kids BA (19 years old), Vince (17), Pauline (14), even Alan, Jr. (10) have their own blogs. At first I was intrigued, later became interested in what they wrote, and perhaps how they wrote. But there is something BIG into it. By reading their blogs, I continue t to know them better, their interests, who their friends are (yes, they have their friends' links in their blogroll), what their friends perceive them to be, what they do in and outside school, what makes them happy, what bothers them, their innermost thoughts, their plans, etc., etc. Their creativity in designing their blogs is also amazing! I was surprised how advanced they are in the use of computers and the internet.
What about Angela and Monica? They do not have blogs, but they have Friendster accounts. There is also "My Multiply" account where they post their blogs and pictures. We parents may not really be aware of it, but chances are, with computers and online/DSL connections at home, our children not only chat, send emails or search the internet. They also have their own blogs, Friendster accounts which they update regularly."

I have met Sexy mom and his son BA. She's really the Empress of a blogging dynasty ... and from the little I know, she likes helping people to improve and promote their blogs too. Like me.

What is a blog to you?
Internet is a lonely place without Blogging; a fine art, science, also economics. Blogs are different to different people. Fine Art of Blogging asks you to share your views on what is a blog to you?
Please contribute your thoughts on blogging in general. In particular, write how you blog? Why? How blogging matters in life and work? Success stories and inspirations. Answer these questions and more (add what you feel is important dimension for you) and email me.
Fine Art Claimer
My blogs are a resource for my writings. More often, I blog informally, sharing impressions, generating ideas to see how they invoke reactions, keeping track of others’ work in the fields of my interest, or simply ranting or pointing out things that come to my attention.
Also, I use blogging as a platform to prune ideas. This is where I meet others and share experiences. “I am neither geek, nor nerd, I am not a hacker, a phreaker, a programmer or any variety of technoid dweeb.”
