Successful and Outstanding Blogger

What is blog to you? Gosh that is such an interesting question. My mind goes so many places. I start with: A blog is a tool. Like a paper and pencil, or any software program, a blog is a vehicle for getting a job done - that job being certain types of web publishing and content management. A blog is a dynamic website. Most blogs are destinations that carry content. Often that content is worth reading. Some blogs are even inspiring. Some move me to action. Some start a conversation. Which leads to the question, can a blog be a blog without comments? Sure why not? A computer can be a computer without an internet connection, can't it?
My blog is a conversation. It is both a destination and an event. People come to talk on Tuesday nights even when I just put up a topic or a question. More than half of the blog is in the comments. My blog could not be a blog without the comments. [smile]
How do I blog? I live my blog. I guess that's the way I have to say it. I get up in the morning and spend my day there as most people spend their day at the office. The folks who spend time at my blog hear me say I live inside their computer and I guess that is what I do.
Let me tell you about blogging and why I blog. I blog because it is like playing music. I put the words together that I want to share. I sit at my computer. I think hard on a thought. I listen the music of the language and it gives itself a voice.
I get to write about dream and experiences I've had. I get to hear people tell the stories of their lives. My blog is a place where relationships are born and grow to become friendships that are dear. I have met people on my blog who I will know the day I die.
I blog because of the people. I like helping them know they can write too. Every thing about blogging is about the people. Look very closely and you will see it. Even the search engine serve the people. Take a hint from them. Links that connect people are stronger than links that only connect blogs.

My blogs are a resource for my writings. More often, I blog informally, sharing impressions, generating ideas to see how they invoke reactions, keeping track of others’ work in the fields of my interest, or simply ranting or pointing out things that come to my attention.
Also, I use blogging as a platform to prune ideas. This is where I meet others and share experiences. “I am neither geek, nor nerd, I am not a hacker, a phreaker, a programmer or any variety of technoid dweeb.”
